Flamm’s (Bad Homburg, Germany)
It has been a month since I first arrived in Germany and have honestly been eating far, far too much! Tonight, I went to a small local restaurant called Flamm’s, which is a cozy, bubbling restaurant with a lot of character. The walls are dark yellow and covered in old advertising signs- a real authentic flavor.

More importantly, the food is delicious! Flammkuchen is a very thin crust type of pizza and comes with all different types of toppings on it. The particular flammkuchen I ordered had a cheese, onion, pepperoni and tomato topping. It was absolutely scrumptious. To drink I had federweisser which is a fermented grape juice. It may sound disgusting, but it tastes like grape soda or sparkling sweet wine and is very refreshing.

Then for dessert I had another flammkuchen, but this time with a raspberry and white chocolate topping! Mhhmmm :)

Overall, both the food and the ambiance was perfect after a long day at work. I will definitely come back here to try out the different types of flammkuchen.
