Meat Rolls Recipe

I was watching random Jamie Oliver videos when one recipe caught my eye; some sort of a sweet meat roll. So I decided to make my own version.

Feeds:

3 hungry monsters, or

6 satiated humans, or

ZERO weight-conscious bastards

Ingredients:

- Ground beef (2 cups)

- Puff pastry

- Bacon (about 4 pieces)

- Brown sugar or preferably palm sugar (1/4 cup)

- Mustard (2.5 tablespoons)

- Salt and pepper for taste

Steps:

- Preheat the oven at 210 degrees Celsius

- Start by cooking the bacon (don’t add any type of oil, since we’re going to use the oil from the bacon fat) until semi crispy, set aside

- Mix the ground beef, 2/3 of the palm sugar, mustard and salt and pepper (as needed) in a large bowl

- Cook the beef mixture in the pan used previously to cook the bacon until cooked, set aside

- Cut down the puff pastry into 6 long rectangles, then add the cooked beef mixture and the bacon equally

- Roll the puff pastries and then smother the outer layer of the rolls with the remaining palm sugar

- Cook in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius until the pastries expand and turn brown (this takes about 20 minutes)

- Serve!
