Calda pizzas range from a regular 11 inches to a beastly 36 inches in diameter, all thin crust. We ordered the regular-sized pizzas because despite my sister and myself being adorably chubby (harhar), we each have a regular person’s appetite. She ordered the Capricciosa (P170) while I ordered the Calzone (P180). While I liked the Capricciosa just fine, I much preferred the Calzone. It was really good!
I’m glad that there are finally good pizza places in Iloilo. Well, there have always been pizza places in Iloilo, of course, but not exceptionally good ones. For the record, my favourite pizza place is still Pizarro, and despite it not being a pizza place, their ham and cheese pizza puts MO2 Annex second, and now Calda is at a respectable third. However, Calda offers the biggest range of pizza flavours so I’m definitely coming back for more. Who knows, I just might end up putting Calda at the top of my list.
Calda is open from 9AM until late at night and can be found on the second floor of the Vertex building in the Smallville complex.
